Permissions for location and camera

Allow location and camera so GPS and AR green reading work.

Permissions Putty needs

Putty uses a few phone permissions so GPS distances, AR green reading, and notifications work correctly.

Location

Required for GPS distances and course positioning. Choose While Using the App or Precise Location (iOS) for the best accuracy.

Camera

Required for AR green reading. Putty only uses the camera while AR is open.

Motion & fitness (optional)

Helps Apple Watch and shot tracking. You can keep this off if you only use the phone.

If something looks wrong

  1. Open your phone Settings → Putty.
  2. Confirm Location and Camera are allowed.
  3. Force-quit Putty and reopen it.
