Reading a putt line

Combine green reading, aim, and speed to commit to a line.

Choosing a putt line

Putty helps you combine green reading, aim, and speed so you can commit to a line with confidence.

Steps

  1. Stand behind the ball and pick your start line.
  2. Use AR or green view to check slope across the putt.
  3. Pick a speed that matches the break you expect.
  4. Commit and stroke through your start line.

When the green is complex, prioritize speed control — a putt that dies near the hole is easier to two-putt.
