Using GPS on the course

Get accurate GPS distances during your round.

Using GPS on the course

Putty shows distances to the green and key targets using your phone’s GPS while you play.

Best results

  • Keep Precise / High Accuracy location on.
  • Hold the phone upright for a few seconds if the reading jumps after you walk.
  • Stay out of deep tree cover or buildings when possible.
  • Download the course before you start.

What you will see

Distances update as you move. Use them with the AI caddie for club choice, but still trust what you see on the hole — GPS is a guide, not a rules official.
