When recommendations feel wrong

Why a club suggestion can miss — and how to adjust.

When a recommendation feels wrong

The AI caddie suggests a starting point. Conditions, lie, and how you feel that day still matter.

Common reasons

  • Wind, elevation, or firm turf not fully reflected yet
  • A thin or fat strike pattern that day
  • Hazard lines that favor a different miss
  • Limited history on a new course

What to do

Take one more club or less when your eyes disagree. After the round, accurate scoring helps future suggestions. Contact support@putty.golf if advice is consistently off by a full club type.
